PARTNERSHIP VISIT.

On Saturday 19th March, the project officer and the sponsorship coordinator paid a partnership visit to Paul Wanjigi Alpine High School in Naivasha after the founder and manager of the School visited Yatima in late 2021 to bench mark with Yatima on the best way to go about establishing a unique secondary school that will offer wholistic secondary school education to orphans and vulnerable children in Kenya. The purpose of the visit was to assess and evaluate the school condition as the school was willing to offer form 1 scholarship to one graduate student supported by Yatima Outreach Organization. From the visit, it was evident that the school was just beginning and was in the process of finalizing on the first phase of the project but had great future plans to integrate both vocational training and the normal secondary school education where students will get both secondary school certificate as well as vocational training course of their choice after four years of secondary school education. This is a new form of engagement thus the organization is keen on having discussions around this to find the best possible way to partner with the school.
