On April 20th, 2024, Yatima Outreach organization hosted His Excellency Neil Wigan, the British High Commissioner, at the Nairoshi Integrated Community Center (NICC). The Country Director, Board of Directors, and the Arch Bishop of the Anglican Church of Kenya, The Most Rev. Dr. Jackson Ole Sapit, who is the NICC patron, along with the NICC project Manager, shared with H.E. Wigan the activities and initiatives being carried out at the center. The organization was recognized for its efforts in uplifting and supporting orphaned and vulnerable children, as well as the community. Later on, the team proceeded to Mzee Keleina ole Nchoe’s residence, where the Maa community gathered to discuss pressing issues within their community. The event was attended by various dignitaries, including the Narok County Governor, Kajiado Governor, and the Samburu Governor.
