Yatima Outreach Organization successfully hosted its first-ever local fundraising event on September 2, 2023, at the ACK Madeleine School in Bungoma. The primary objective of this event was to raise funds for the expansion and enhancement of the Dr. Pike Ropper Medical Centre. Currently, the center’s capacity allows it to provide medical services exclusively to the children at ACK Madeleine School. However, with the proceeds from this event, we aim to establish a Maternal and Child Health (MCH) wing and an Outpatient department.

The event was graced by Mr. Tom Wambulwa, Yatima Outreach’s Country Director, Sophy Okeyo, Project Officer, Vicar General of the ACK Diocese of Bungoma, Bishop Gerald Wanyonyi, as well as local authorities such as the area chief and assistant chief. We were also fortunate to have the presence and support of the entire staff and parents of ACK Madeleine School.
