Team building is an essential component to staff motivation. At Yatima Outreach, team building activities are done annually to promote team spirit and motivate staff towards achieving the broader vision of the organization. The last team building activity was held at oak place in ridgeways Nairobi. This involved the leadership team from all the campuses across the country with the ultimate goal being vision casting. This is done to make the leadership team understand the vision and strategic direction of the organization so that they can be able to cascade it down to their subordinate staff.

The team building activities are done to improve staff understanding of various organizational policies, enhance team work, performance and productivity through staff motivation and team spirit activities. To enhance improved performance, individual staffs are also awarded best employee of the year award and best department of the year awards.

Fire and safety training for Patmos school staff was also conducted to equip users of the new building with fire fighting techniques. 22 Participants attended the fire safety training at Patmos School.
