2021 CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS
The year 2021 was great and we are grateful to the Almighty God for his protection. In December 2021, the organization hosted Christmas celebrations for all the project beneficiaries as a way of showing love and compassion during the season. The Christmas celebration parties were held at Patmos School, the cooperate office, Nairobi, and A.C.K Madeline Respectively.
Cooperate office Celebrations
Christmas end year party celebrations were graced by cooperate staff. It was a great and happy day where staff shared a meal and enjoyed conversations as they thanked God for a great year.
Staff gave speeches and thanksgiving to highlight achievements throughout the year. Afterward the country director appreciated all the present cooperate staff members by gifting and wishing them Merry Christmas, it was a great and joyous moment.
Patmos School Celebrations
On Saturday 18th December 2021 Patmos School had Christmas celebration event where children, teachers and non-teaching staff had a joyful moment which was aimed at promoting team interaction and positive outlook of life .Learners participated in entertainment which included dancing competitions, and hype sessions under the supervision of members of the staff.
Pupils also had a chance to enjoy mouthwatering meals accompanied with fruits and drinks which were prepared by some teachers and kitchen staff.
ACK-Madeleine
The children and teachers at A.C.K Madeline School in Bungoma also had a similar celebration on 22nd December 2021where they participated in games such as tag of war, egg racing and many more outdoor activities. Children were happy as they enjoyed meals and snacks after which they cut a cake to grace the ceremony and were so grateful to Orphan Outreach for sponsoring their Christmas ceremony.
Nairoshi-Narok
It was a great month as the children celebrated Christmas for the first time on 20th December 2021 since there is usually not much to celebrate which has been torturing for them as they look around their neighborhood and realize they are the only ones not having Christmas celebrations .This festive season was however different as Christmas celebrations and luncheon for the children lifted their spirits. For the first time the project staff did not struggle to take photos of happy and smiling children, they were so excited with the presence of Christmas tree and all wanted to have a photo next to it. The joy of celebrating a special meal that is only served to the seniors during major community events was unspeakable.
This gave a big reason for the children to smile.
