On the 20th of September 2023, the Finance Officer, Communications Coordinator, and Computer Teacher from Patmos School, accompanied by five students, participated in the Kenya EdTech Summit 2023 held at CEMASTEA Karen. The Summit was dedicated to the deployment, integration, and utilization of online IT products for educational purposes. Our partner, Longhorn Publishers, conducted a product demonstration that involved the active participation of students from Patmos, who showcased their IT skills during the demo. The sessions and demonstrations were met with wholehearted enthusiasm and engagement. The primary objective of the Summit was to establish a more interconnected and evidence-driven movement centered around the use of technology to create an inclusive, efficient, and resilient education system in Kenya. To facilitate this mission, we have outlined three key goals for the Summit.
