The Nairoshi Project Centre staff, along with five girls, had the privilege of attending the International Day of the Girl event held at Naireke Enkare on Tuesday, September 20, 2023. Notably, Ipato Surum, the Chair of the ANTI-FGM board, graced the event as the guest of honor, alongside other esteemed guests.

During the event, the girls exhibited a profound understanding of their rights and were well-informed about the 19 relevant organizations to which they could turn if their rights were ever neglected. Their awareness and knowledge were truly commendable.

Additionally, this event provided an exciting opportunity for the girls, most of whom had never visited Narok town before. This outing was a unique experience for them, and they embraced it as a journey of discovery, eagerly soaking in new knowledge and experiences along the way.
