Narok Visit

The project officer visited Nairoshi Program in Naisoya Narok to monitor progress of ongoing interventions on the ground in mid March. She had the opportunity to interact with program beneficiaries, get their views about the programs being implemented and participate in ongoing activities. The feedback was very positive as there is good will and total program ownership from the beneficiaries and locals who are willing to support the program in various areas such as labor when needed, farm inputs and fire wood to support the feeding program during harvest among other. This is very encouraging and very significant for the program’s future developments.

The sponsorship coordinator also visited Nairoshi to support the social worker prepare the children for letter writing to their individual sponsors. This is an ongoing activity at the center and we are hoping that all the children will do their letters on time.
