On Saturday 26^th of February the project officer and communications intern had the opportunity to attend the Great commandment workshop which was hosted at Parklands Baptist Church Nairobi by Global Orphan Relief in partnership with Parklands Baptist Church. The theme of the workshop was deploying the Church to Serve Orphans, which was a key focus area for the organization. Through the workshop we gained insights on general child welfare and protection best practices from a Christian perspective it was also an opportunity to interact with likeminded partners serving orphans and vulnerable children in different parts of the country and we look forward to future interactions with the newly created partnerships.
