Yatima Outreach Celebrates 10 Years of Restoring Hope
Yatima Outreach marked a significant milestone on June 20 th 2025 as it celebrated 10 years of
impactful service to vulnerable children and communities across Kenya. The anniversary gala,
held at Sarova Panafric, brought together partners, donors, government representatives, board
members, and staff; all united in recognizing a decade of transformation, compassion, and
unwavering commitment.
The evening was a powerful reminder of the organization’s journey since its founding in 2014.
From humble beginnings to impacting communities across Kenya, Yatima Outreach has grown
to support thousands of children through education, healthcare, nutrition, WASH, mentorship,
and community development initiatives.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the “Hope Restoration Awards,” a special recognition to individuals and institutions who have gone above and beyond in supporting Yatima Outreach’s mission.
As the evening came to a close, guests were invited to look ahead at “The Next 10” — a bold vision for expanding impact through deeper community engagement, improved program delivery, and strengthened advocacy.
Yatima Outreach is grateful to everyone who has been part of this incredible journey and invites
all well-wishers to continue walking alongside us as we restore hope, one child and one community at a time.
This included long-time partners, community champions, and program alumni who have
emerged as inspiring stories of change.
The event also featured a visual timeline of Yatima Outreach’s milestones over the years, performances by children from partner schools, and heartfelt testimonials from beneficiaries and
program staff.
Representatives from key institutions including Orphan Outreach, KCDF, the Ministry of
Health, and Children’s Services were in attendance, reaffirming their support and celebrating
the strong partnerships that have fueled the organization’s growth.
As the evening came to a close, guests were invited to look ahead at “The Next 10” — a bold
vision for expanding impact through deeper community engagement, improved program
delivery, and strengthened advocacy.
“While we celebrate the past, we are also energized for the future. The need is still great — and
so is our resolve,” said the Board Chair in her closing remarks.
