On March 12th, 2024, Yatima Outreach and Daystar University signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at the Daystar University Nairobi campus. The agreement entails internship opportunities for Daystar students, collaborative research ventures, and staff capacity building offered by the university. Yatima Outreach Director, Tom Wambulwa, and Daystar University Vice Chancellor, Professor Laban Ayiro, spearhead this transformative partnership. Witnessing the historic moment were Madam Chelagat Nases, Yatima Outreach Board Member, Prof. Muturi Wachira, Daystar University Deputy Vice Chancellor, Dr. Kennedy Ongaro, Dean of the School of Applied Human Sciences, and Dr. Rosleline Olumbe, Coordinator, Institute of Child Development, along with department heads from Daystar University. This marks a transformative collaboration for impactful initiatives and knowledge dissemination.
