Yatima Outreach was delighted to welcome the Each One Teach One (EOTO) team from the United States, led by Nitesh Patel on March 25th and 26th, 2024. During their visit, the team had the opportunity to visit Patmos School in Mathare and Nairoshi Integrated Center in Narok. EOTO generously donated a new generator to Patmos School. This will help address the long-standing electricity challenges that the school has faced for some time. Additionally, EOTO provided essential school supplies to the children at both centers which included full school uniforms, school shoes, rain boots, and sports shoes. The teenage girls were also supported with a year’s supply of sanitary towels. Furthermore, the parents received a bale of maize flour each, to cushion them on the high cost of food. The interaction between Yatima Outreach and EOTO during this visit has forged a meaningful partnership. Accompanying the EOTO team was Mr. Mortimer Jones, the Orphan Outreach Director of Programs, who played a pivotal role in bridging connections between EOTO and Yatima Outreach.
